Tour de Fleece, Flag Violet on Superwash Merino/ Nylon Roving

Hand dyed Polwarth/ Silk (85/15) wool roving (combed top) for spinning and felting in Three Waters Farm colorway Flag Violet. Each braid weighs 4 ounces.

The first photo is two braids wound together; the next four photos are all of the same braid.

Easier to spin than merino, Polwarth has a bouncy feel and a matte glow which gleams with the addition of tussah silk.
